Hello, I have a 94 GT with a T5 that I'm putting 3.73's in. What speed gear would work best for my application? Thanks

        • A 94 GT with a T-5 transmission equipped with 3.73's would need a 23 tooth. With having a 23 tooth the speedometer would still be slightly off. Unfortunately, that would be the largest that we we carry.

Hello. I was hoping you could tell me which speedo gear to buy for my transmission based on my setup. I'm running a TKO 600 transmission with 28.5 inch tall rear tires. Can you tell me how many teeth my Speedo gear needs to be for this setup? Or better yet do you have a part number?

        • I would love to answer this question for you, but there are to many variables that unknown at the moment, we would need to know what gears, final drive, the driven gear etc... I would recommend giving our experts a call for further assistance.

Going to order 4.10 gear set for my 1998 gt t45 I have the trans out. What speedo gear combo do I need to correct the speedometer ?

        • If you have a 98 with a t45, this means you have a 7 tooth drive gear, which would mean you would need the Ford Speedo Gear - 21 Tooth (83-98 Manual) (Item #53682) which you can find here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/speedo-gear-21tooth-manual.html

            Does what its supposed to

Nothing too exciting to say. Super easy to install, only one bolt that you need a 7/16" open ended wrench to remove and one clip that pops right off. But like I said nothing exciting to say, if your gear is chewed up or swapped gears in your rearend this is a fantastic product!
