Description
High-Performance Rear Braking. The Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors and Red Calipers enhances vehicle stopping power by replacing factory rear brakes while integrating with the original equipment parking brake. It is designed for high-performance applications, complementing front big brake upgrades on late model vehicles by providing increased durability and braking capacity for improved safety and control.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features four-piston AERO4 calipers made with stainless steel pistons for consistent response and longevity. The rotors are large 14.25-inch diameter GT slotted style, constructed from Spec-37 iron with a black electro-coat finish for corrosion resistance. The calipers are finished in a durable red powder coat, combining functional performance with an aggressive visual appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling as it mounts using the OEM axle flange with zero offset. The kit includes a standard aluminum parking brake hat to ensure compatibility with the OE parking brake assembly, facilitating a direct bolt-on replacement for ease of upgrade.
Application. Specifically designed for the 09-11 Challenger R/T, SE, this kit is not compatible with AWD, SRT-8, police models, or vehicles equipped with factory Brembo calipers, ensuring correct fit and optimal performance only for the stated configuration.
