Description
HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKING. The Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with drilled and slotted rotors and black calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for street and track applications. This kit enhances braking efficiency using large diameter rotors and multi-piston calipers designed for heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring consistent performance during demanding conditions such as towing, off-road, and spirited driving.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The kit features AERO6 calipers with six stainless steel pistons, finished in durable black powder coat to resist corrosion and maintain a sleek appearance. Rotors are crafted from Spec-37 iron, treated with a black electro-coat finish for enhanced longevity and thermal management. The rotors are drilled and slotted with a directional staggered vane design to maximize cooling and heat dissipation.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for vehicles equipped with factory disc spindles and does not require drilling of components. The kit mounts radially for precise alignment and easy fitment while maintaining compatibility with the original master cylinder output and ABS functionality.
APPLICATION. This brake kit fits 2012-2015 Dodge Challenger models including R/T, Rallye Redline, and SXT trims, excluding AWD, SRT-8, police variants, and models with factory Brembo calipers.
