Featuring a design that minimizes turbulence, this catted mid-pipe increases exhaust gas velocity when paired with the Twisted Steel long tube headers. These faster-exiting exhaust gases result in practical boosts in power and torque for that competitive edge come track day.
Full, Mid-Range Exhaust Tone. The AFE 3 inch Twisted Steel Street Series Catted Mid-Pipe produces an exhaust tone that matches your Challenger’s new performance numbers. Starting out as a low rumble, the exhaust tone transforms into a full roar with lots of raspy mid-range tones that’s loud without being rude.
Free-Flow Catalytic Converters. The AFE 3 inch Twisted Steel Street Series Catted Mid-Pipe features 200 CPSI (cells per square inch) catalytic converters that are engineered to allow unrestricted exit of exhaust gases. While these cats are fully-functional, these mid-pipes are not CARB-certified, making them illegal for use in California and other states that have adopted CARB certification. Please check local laws for applications that permit the use of these mid-pipes.
Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Build Quality. AFE's 3 inch Twisted Steel Street Series Catted Mid-Pipes are crafted from 304 stainless steel for superior rust resistance and strength. These mid-pipes are fully mandrel-bent for added rigidity and consistency. Lastly, joins are completely MIG-welded adding even more durability to this assembly.
