Description
Go From Good to Great. You didn't buy just any old Mustang. You bought a BOSS 302 and all the racing heritage that goes with it. Your BOSS 302 was set-up with road racing in mind straight from the factory but you want more. Install a set of American Racing Headers 1-7/8 in. Long Tube Headers w/ Catted X-Pipe and get more of everything; more power at the rear wheels, more performance and more sound. The great thing about this system is that it still allows you to keep your BOSS 302 side pipes too.
Finest Materials. American Racing Headers are always 100% made in the USA, nothing is ever outsourced. These headers are completely made of 304 stainless steel and the 3/8" thick, laser-cut flanges are heavy duty to resist warping and leaking. The inlets on this system are all hand-ported and TIG welded with performance and power always in mind. The 1-7/8" primaries come together in merge collectors with welded scavenger spikes to increase exhaust flow and everything flows out through 200 cell metallic substrate cats that will last.
Installation Notes. This long tube header system is designed to bolt right on to your BOSS 302 and will even use your existing side pipes. During installation you may find that you will need to do some cutting to remove the old system but no modifications are required to install the new system.
