      High-Strength and Lightweight Carbon-Fiber Construction. The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Type-OE Trunk is constructed using a wet carbon-fiber method, and undergoes a patented vacuum infusion process. This advanced process ensures the resin is more evenly distributed throughout the carbon-fiber, resulting in a more consistent product with a “wet” and shiny finish. Please keep in mind that while this finish is quite durable, using an automotive-grade clear coat with UV-inhibitors can help prolong this surround’s shiny finish.

      Uncomplicated Installation. The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Type-OE Trunk is designed to use the OE hardware for mounting. It’s suggested that your trunk lid’s stock dampeners, shocks, or struts not be reused as the component’s lighter weight can result in an uncontrolled opening. Anderson Composites also recommends professional installation of this product.

      Covered by a 6-Month Finish Warranty. The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Type-OE Trunk is backed by a 6-month warranty covering any large imperfections on the finish.
