Description
Enhanced Aerodynamic Performance. The Standard Deluxe Diffuser smooths and diffuses airflow exiting from underneath the vehicle, optimizing air movement from the differential to the rear to improve aerodynamic efficiency. Its functional design complements the factory setup by bolting directly to the existing valance.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with an aluminum belly pan combined with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) diffuser fins, the diffuser features an automotive-grade finish. The attachment aluminum plate exhibits manufacturing marks and fine scratches, which are hidden when installed. The diffuser is available in raw aluminum or black powder-coated versions.
Installation. Installation requires verifying the threaded condition of the rear differential crossmember. Hardware is included for both threaded and unthreaded configurations. Non-threaded setups will require a rivnut tool for securing hardware nuts. The diffuser bolts on with no major modifications but requires caution due to its low ground clearance.
Application. Designed to fit 2015-2023 Dodge Challenger models equipped with either threaded or unthreaded rear differential cross braces. Vehicles with lowered suspension, lowering springs, or air suspension may experience scraping because of the diffuser’s close-to-ground mounting height.
