AND IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME CHECKING OUT A CORSA SYSTEM THAN ONE THING YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF IS THAT YES YOU ARE GETTING A BUNCH OF VOLUME AND BALD EAGLES OUT THE BACK BUT INSIDE THE CAR THINGS REMAIN EXTREMELY QUIET THANKS TO THE COMPANIES PATENTED TECH KNOWN AS RSC OR REFLECTIVE SOUND CANCELATION. THIS ALLOWS CORSA TO PUNISH EAR DRUMS ON THE OUTSIDE WHILE STILL BEING ABLE TO CARRY ON A CONVERSATION WHILE CRUISING AND THEY ARE ONE OF THE BEST AT DOING SO.BUT LETS STEP AWAY FROM THE SOUND AND TALK A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE PREMIUM BUILD AND AS MENTIONED EARLIER – YOU ARE GETTING SOME GOOD STUFF HERE FROM CORSA. THIS INCLUDES 304 GRADE STAINLESS INCLUDING THE STRAIGHT THROUGH SPORT SERIES MUFFLERS 2.5” TUBING AND FINALLY THE MIRROR POLISHED 4” TIPS. QUICK HEADS UP IF YOU WANTED OR PREFERED THE BLACK TIP INSTEAD- CORSA HAS SOMETHING FOR YOU AND YOU CAN GRAB THAT ON THE SITE AS WELL. Great Axle Backs
Fitment is excellent, minimal fidgeting needed to get tailpipes perfect. Sounds great, slightly louder than stock Bullitt mufflers at idle, but louder and more aggressive past 3000rpm. Nice deep tone. Excellent quality. A bit pricey, but it shows. Zero drone with factory headers and midpipe, nice and quiet in the cabin when just cruising on the highway. High Price but no Drone
I love the Corsa sport axle back exhaust! combined with the ford performance cut and clamp x pipe it has a beautiful exhaust note! I cant wait to add headers and really open it up. The Axle Back went on with no problems. I was done in just about an hour from start to finish, on the ground in the rain (yes im a glutton for punishment!!!). From the inside of the car the exhaust is not loud at all. Outside its louder then stock, but not so much that you will wake the neighbors on a cold start. Go full throttle on the highway and she opens right up! The Corsa's could be a little bit cheaper but Their RSC technology does what it claims and eliminates the exhaust drone inside the car. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.Helpful (0)

Sound is great, fit and finish not so much
I bought my father the corsa sport axel backs as a gift. We went to install them and the passenger side pipe was crushed in probably 1/4 inch so we had to to flare the pipe to get it to fit. I ordered a corsa extreme catback for my 2018 gt and had the same problem. The sound is amazing but for the price these exhaust need to be packaged better.Helpful (1)

They look great. I did have to tweak the hangers with a torch other than that an easy job. I pulled my flow masters to go for less drone/noise in the cab on longer drives. Gusty on the get up and go with a nice downshifting sound. Very pleased...thanksHelpful (4)

Let me start by saying that this was a big mistake on my part considering I had the Flo Master American thunder exhaust which in my opinion is a much aggressive exhaust than the Corsa's. Now as far as looks, very nice looking exhaust but that is not why we buy exhaust systems not to mention the price. If your looking for aggressive exhaust keep the stock and save your money. Very disappointed. PS one side hangs lower than the other and it was installed by a professional.Helpful (4)

I had Borla Touring axle back exhaust on my car and had some drone. I put on the Corsa Sport axle back exhaust and no drone. It's amazing! The sound is Awesome! Sure the Corsa is expensive but worth every penny!Helpful (3)

Great sound at idle; no drone
Installed on my 2007 Shelby GT...slightly higher in pitch and louder at idle than stock Ford racing installed by Shelby but less loud at highway speeds. Looks great. Installed easily. Previously had Roush extreme which was great at idle (with more bass but had a terrible unbearable drone at highway speeds; it also did not install easily on the x-pipes. The corsa sport sounds great at idle and acceleration (would have liked slightly more aggressive sound with acceleration) but the lack of drone on highway more than offsets. It is plenty loud at idle, nice sound on acceleration, and very quiet on the highway. Props to AM who gave me credit on the Roush (could not get passenger side tip to line up properly) that I applied to the purchase of the more expensive Corsa. The Corsa arrived in 1 day. Prepaid label emailed for return of the Roush.Helpful (4)

Great exhaust but didn't fit well, sounds OK
I was very disappointed that the brackets didn't match up with my 2008 GT500 as promised. I worked around it and had to install other attaching brackets. Sounds good though. Cost too much to have been a disappointment.Helpful (4)

Excitement While Driving
I did a lot of research on different performance mufflers. I picked Corsa because of the quality of their mufflers and the no drone technology. This was the perfect muffler for me. No drone when driving around town to work, store, etc. There is a nice deep rumble when accelerating from a red light or stop sign. Freeway driving is the same with no drone. However, I do notice a humming sound while accelerating. It is not a loud sound but you can hear. I don't think it is a big deal. That sound may have been there the whole time when I had a single muffler (did a dual exhaust conversion) and the Corsas make it standout more. The biggest concern I had was the cold start in the morning. I didn't want mufflers that would wake the neighbors in the morning and some of the YouTube videos that had Mustangs with the Corsa Sport seemed really loud. The Corsa Sports are not loud from a cold start. It has a nice deep tone when you first start your car which I love and as the Corsa mufflers get warmed up they get quiet. I went to a shop for the dual exhaust conversion and Corsa Sport install. The cost was $400. The price would have been lower but the guys at the shop told me they had some issues with installing the x pipe which increased the price but I was ok with it. If you are looking for a performance muffler with no drone, is louder than stock mufflers, and is not wake the neighbors loud the Corsa Sport would be the perfect muffler.Helpful (5)
I have a Roush (rectangular fascia openings and exhaust tips for the rear). Can the Corsa axle-back be modified to accommodate rectangular tips?
yes you can cut the old tips off and weld the square tips on.
My exhaust is making a noise around 2k rpm... doesn't corsa have a life time warranty or something like that !?
Corsa does have a warranty and it states that the "purchaser/installer must within 30 days after discovery of the defect or condition." For further information, visit Corsa's website for their full warranty.
Does this sound any different from the old style corsa sports?
The Corsa Sport Axle-Back Exhaust (05-10 GT; 07-10 GT500) will have a slightly different sound from the old style exhausts.
