      Description

      High Flow Exhaust that Sounds as Good as it Performs. The Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back Exhaust is a free-flowing exhaust meant to liven up your 5.0L Mustang with more sound and horsepower. This Axle-Back Exhaust is compatible with the factory Active Exhaust function that allows you to control the exhaust note.

      Capability of the American Thunder Axle-Back.       The axle back exhaust features active exhaust controls for engine volume control and an easy bolt-on design. The system is emissions-legal and is built from high grade, mandrel-bent, 3-inch steel. The functional exhaust valves allow for the different sound levels, much like your GT’s stock exhaust. 409 stainless steel is chosen for the build’s steel. Four-inch polished stainless-steel tips dress up the end of the exhaust. Each axle back unit is made in the USA and dyno-tuned for maximum performance.

      Cut & Clamp Installation. The installation of this Axle-Back Exhaust requires cutting and removing the factory muffler assemblies and clamping the new muffler assemblies in place. Clamps and instructions are provided.

      Lifetime Structural Warranty. The axle back ships with a lifetime structural warranty covering manufacturing and material defects.

      Application.       The Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back Exhaust is specifically designed to be used on 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT models equipped with active exhaust.
