Description
High Performance Catalyst. The Flowmaster 200 Series Catalytic Converter; 2-inch Inlet/2-Inch Outlet; 49-State Legal is engineered to provide high flow exhaust while helping reduce harmful emissions. It is designed for universal applications where a compact design fits easily in tight spaces, commonly used in pre-OBDII racing setups or vintage vehicles without factory-installed catalytic converters.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a spun stainless steel outer casing measuring 4 inches in diameter and 8 inches in length, the converter features a metallic high flow 200 cell substrate suitable for severe-duty and high temperature environments. The natural stainless steel finish provides durability and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation is moderately straightforward with slip-fit weld-on inlet and outlet connections. Drill-free mounting is possible but requires the use of new hangers, which are not included.
Warranty. This catalytic converter includes a 25,000 mile performance and emissions warranty, as well as a 5 year or 50,000 mile case warranty.
Application. Fits universal applications requiring a 2.00 inch inlet and outlet diameter catalytic converter. This converter is not compliant with California or CARB emissions regulations and is intended for use on non-California 49-state legal vehicles or race-only vehicles where emissions compliance is not required.
