Description
Leak-Free Connection. The Flowmaster Header Collector Ball Flange Kit replaces traditional three-bolt flange connections with a ball and socket design that creates a leak-free, gasket-free seal. It is designed to connect header collectors to tubing with a precise 2.50-inch inside diameter fit, ensuring a clean and secure assembly that enhances exhaust flow efficiency.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this kit features a corrosion-resistant aluminized finish in a gray tone. The kit includes two slip-fit ends with a header flange thickness of 3/8 inch, providing strength and reliability under high-performance conditions.
Installation. Installation requires welding and some adaptation since this is a universal part and not a direct fit. The slip-fit connections simplify assembly, but professional welding is necessary for a proper, leak-free seal.
Application. Fits universal exhaust systems and requires some adaptation for exact fitment. It replaces typical three-bolt header flanges and is designed for use with headers and exhaust tubing with 2.50-inch inside diameters.
