Description
Performance Chambered Muffler. The Flowmaster 70 Series Big Block II Center/Dual Oval Muffler with a 3-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlets is engineered to increase horsepower, torque, and engine efficiency while delivering a mild exhaust tone. This muffler is suitable for trucks, SUVs, motorhomes, and high-performance street vehicles, providing improved sound control and fuel efficiency.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a high-temperature black paint finish for corrosion resistance. It incorporates the proprietary Delta Flow® technology within an enlarged casing to optimize both sound and performance. Fully MIG welded, the muffler ensures maximum strength and long-lasting durability.
Installation. Installation requires moderate skill and utilizes slip-fit inlet and outlet connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on mounting methods. New hangers are required for installation, as they are not included. Some adaptation may be necessary to achieve a proper fit.
Application. Designed for universal fitment, this muffler may require some adaptation. It is ideal for a wide range of vehicles, including classic muscle cars, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs.
