Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Center/Center Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch Inlet and 2.50-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver an aggressive exhaust tone and enhanced performance, particularly suited for forced induction and high horsepower vehicles. It produces a deep, powerful sound signature with reduced interior resonance, making it ideal for street and strip applications where sound quality and performance are essential.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16-gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability and longevity, this muffler features a high-temperature black paint finish that withstands harsh exhaust temperatures while providing a sleek, professional appearance beneath the vehicle.
Installation. Designed with a universal fitment requiring some adaptation. It includes slip-fit inlet and outlet connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on mounts. Installation requires new hangers, which are not included. No drilling is typically necessary for fitting.
Application. Fits a wide range of applications; however, some adaptation may be necessary to fit specific vehicles. It is not reversible and is intended for use with 4 and 6 cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs.
