Popular Tire Setups for this Wheel
Hey everyone I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m taking a look at our race inspired FR500 wheels for all 94-04 Mustangs. These wheels are inspired by the factory built turnkey racecar the Ford Mustang FR500. Now these cars were built for one sole purpose: to be all out track monsters using beefed up suspension, and a slightly more radical engine. Now the styling of these wheels is drawn from the more aggressive racecar appearance that differentiated these models from their road going counterparts. Our FR500 wheels are available in both 17 and 18” diameters, and your choice of either black, black chrome, anthracite silver, or chrome finish. Now you can buy these wheels individually if you like, however the smart move would be to take advantage of one of our pre built tire and wheel combinations, that pair your new FR500 wheels up with some of the better performing tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your ride without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. Not only that you get to take advantage of our free shipping and handling, free mounting and balancing, and optional nitrogen fill. Now the wheels are available in both staggered and non staggered fitment and with the always cool deep dish feature. Now deep dish refers to the lip around the wheel itself, this means that the face of the rim is set further back from the rim, resulting in a nice thick lip which looks very cool. As I mentioned before you can get the wheels in a staggered fitment which simply means your rear wheels and tires are going to be slightly wider than your fronts giving you that classic muscle car look. That’s exactly what we’ve done on our 2000 V6 behind me, got the black 18x9’s up front, and as you can see we’ve got the black 18x10’s out back, giving us that really tough stance. This will also help our traction as well, thanks to the fact that we get to run a slightly wider rear tire, helping us get that power down to the ground. To give you an idea of what some of the different finishes look like we’ve equipped our 98 GT on the lift there with a set of anthracite silver FR500’s. Next to that on our Dynojet we have our 2000 GT, sporting the very sharp chrome finish. Whatever finish you decide to go with, rest assured knowing that we here at AmericanMuscle have your back with a 1 year warranty on all finishes, and a lifetime structural warranty. When you receive your new set of wheels from AmericanMuscle you’ll find that installing them is as easy as ordering them, all you need to do is simply crack your lugs loose first while your car is still on the ground, then jack the car up and swap the wheels. Doing all of that takes you about an hour using standard hand tools and a floor jack. If you’re a fan of racecar styling and you want your ride to be inspired by a true purpose built racecar, then you’ll definitely want to check out a set of our FR500 wheels for your Mustang.

What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

What is the offset for the fronts and the rears?
The front wheels will have a +30mm off set and the rears will have a +22mm offset.
How big is the center cap hole in these wheels?
2.5 inches in diameter.
Will these wheels fit a 2016 Ecoboost Mustang?
They will not fit 2016 models.
Will these fit a 93 Notch and what is the back spacing?
We can not confirm fitment on your 1993 Notchback with the Staggered FR500 Style Black Wheel & Sumitomo Tire Kit - 18x9/10 (94-98 All). The backspacing is 157mm on the 9 inch wheel and 161mm for the 10 inch.
Does this specific wheel and tire kit have the regular FR500's for the front of the deep dished FR500s for the back? or would i need to buy the wheels and tires separate?
Yes, the rear wheels will be deep dish.
I purchased American Muscles wheel and tire package last year....(see pic of Foose rims 18" staggered set on my Grabber Orange GT/CS on website) They went on without a hitch. Only thing I had to do was get a new set of lug nuts as the stock ones didn't fit. ( note, get the splined lug nuts along with a locking lug nut....having both is like having two sets of locking lug nuts) A wheel alignment was not nessarary as I didn't change the suspension with putting the wheels on. If you can change a tire....it's really as simple as that. Just swap out the old with the new and enjoy. Be prepared for all the comments on how cool your new rims look. Make sure to post a pic of your car with your new wheels on Ameican Muscle ...I did...
Your speedometer will change very little if you have the same or very close tire diameter. Search the Internet for a tire diameter calculator. Then you input both tire sizes and it will show the effect on the speedometer. There are also apps for smart phones that do the same thing. Silmplly put larger wheel equales shorter side wall.
Yes, the NT555 tires are directional. So unfortunately, you are correct in stating that you can't rotate these tires.
