Description
Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter; HM Grade; Driver Side is engineered to effectively reduce vehicle emissions while maintaining optimal engine performance. This component replaces the original catalytic converter to keep check engine lights off and ensure compliance with federal emission standards. It provides a precise fit and function to sustain factory efficiencies across multiple applications.
Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter is constructed from durable stainless steel featuring corrosion-resistant 16 gauge 409 tubing and 308 stainless steel MIG welds. The body is spun stainless steel with a ceramic substrate for durability and effective catalytic action, finished with a stainless texture designed to withstand the rigors of automotive exhaust environments.
Installation. Installation is straightforward due to its direct-fit design requiring no cutting or welding. It utilizes mandrel bent tubing and OEM-like mounting features, making it achievable for DIY installations with proper tools.
