Description
Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter; OEM Grade is designed to replace the factory catalytic converter while maintaining proper emissions control. It functions by converting harmful exhaust gases into less toxic substances, helping to support emission standards and ensure efficient engine performance.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, this catalytic converter features a spun body design in an uncoated stainless steel finish. It utilizes mandrel-bent tubing and laser fusion welding that reduces leaks and ensures long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with included clamps and no requirement for cutting or welding, allowing for a direct-fit replacement that saves time. This product is intended for do-it-yourself installation using standard tools.
Warranty. This catalytic converter includes both an emissions warranty and a construction warranty, offering peace of mind regarding compliance and product quality.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 2011 to 2018 model years of the 3.6L Dodge Challenger. It replicates OEM design for exact fit and function, ensuring proper performance on these vehicles.
