Description
Universal Emissions Solution. The MagnaFlow Universal Catalytic Converter; OEM Grade; 3-Inch provides an efficient way to manage and reduce vehicle emissions. It is designed as a universal replacement to keep vehicles compliant with federal emissions standards and helps prevent the check engine light from activating.
Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter is constructed from high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability. It features a clam-shell body with a stainless steel finish, laser fusion welds to minimize leaks, and a compact low-mass design for improved thermal efficiency. The substrate is ceramic, and the converter includes a heat shield made from aluminized steel to protect adjacent components.
Installation. Professional installation involving welding is required. It is designed for mounting in confined areas, connecting via pipe connections at both the inlet and outlet. No clamps or hangers are included.
Warranty. This product comes with both emissions and construction warranties to ensure lasting quality and regulatory compliance.
Application. This catalytic converter is universal and fits a wide range of vehicles. It meets federally mandated emissions requirements for OBDII federally registered vehicles with Federal/EPA emission systems. Note that it is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York due to local emissions regulations.
