    Street Or Strip. The McLeod Super Street Pro Clutch is perfect for aggressive street driving and occasional drag strip use. Able to hold up to 500hp the Super Street Pro Clutch is ideal for high performance Mustangs that need a good reliable street clutch.

    Organic and Ceramic Disc. Featuring a dual-faced organic and ceramic friction disc; this McLeod Super Street Pro Clutch provides a slightly heavier pedal effort than stock with excellent holding capability making it the perfect performance upgrade for the street and strip.

    Application. This McLeod Super Street Pro Clutch is designed for the Late 2001-2004 GT; 1999-2004 SVT Cobra; 2001 Bullitt; and 2003-2004 Mach 1 with the T-45, TR-3650, or T-56 transmission with a 10 spline input shaft.

        Aloha!!..ok my friend she has a 03 Cobra, upgrades pulley, catback..her clutch went, what would or what clutch kit is right for her cobra from Mcleod that is way better then OEM, I know she wants the best but with the oarts she added not sure about what fits is better... thankz Gee

        • The McLeod Super Street Pro Clutch will be a perfect clutch for that application! It will fit the 2003 Cobra with no issues and operate a lot better than your factory clutch.

        Question about the throw out bearing included in the kit. Did anyone install the one included or did everyone use the Ford brand? If you did install with the included bearing what was the outcome? Thanks!

        • You can indeed use the Ford throwout bearing, both are designed to work for this application.

        I have a 99 mustang cobra I am looking for a clutch with a stiff pedal feel I was wondering if this clutch has that stiffer pedal feel that I am looking for thank you

        What is the metal ring for? And do I need it.

        • The metal ring in the 4th picture is a spacer for in between the pressure plate and flywheel.

        Hello, im interested on buying this clutch for my pullied cobra 2003, but my question is if that i can install this clutch using my stock flywheel? Or i have to purchase a mcleaod flywheel? Thansk !

            650 crank Mach 1

            Holds power very well so far 350 miles or so on the clutch (30 min stop and go to work every day) break in seems alright. 4/5 due to missing the spacer plate to clutch had to adjust clutch cable a lot.

            Nothing but Problems!

            Nothing but issues since having it installed. Haven't put more than 800 miles on the clutch since I got it before winter. Car stalls out at lights now, I have to fight gear positions before it will allow me to get into first (3rd, 2nd, then I can get first gear), random gear lockout, awful clutch slip on hills, and nasty chatter. I honestly am so upset with this clutch I purchased, as it was the most expensive clutch I was looking to buy. I have spent over $500, in addition to the initial install and purchase, because I'm constantly taking the car in to have it looked at. Several dealerships and replaced parts later, I am told the clutch is defective. HUGE mistake to purchase this before winter as it's been 4 months since purchase, and I don't know if customer service would help me out. What started as an early Christmas gift for myself has been nothing short of a nightmare. My low mileage weekend Mach 1 drives like garbage now, and the clutch makes it sound like a diesel truck. I avoid driving it completely as it's embarrassing when I can't get first gear at a stop light, or when out for dates in busy parts of town. I would recommend going through EXEDY. Save yourself the trouble and finances by going a different direction.

            Mcleoud super street pro

            U I purchased the mcleod super street pro buceuase the clutch that my stang came with when I bought it was giving out.. I noticed it was an after market clutch cuz it was red, so I went ahead and ordered a stage 2 clutch on ebay for like 180 bucks had it installed and man it felt like cap. Felt like I was driving a lawn mower. So I did some research on the clutch they had removed and it was a mcleoud super street pro so I went ahead and ordered the same exact clutch it had and got it installed and boy it feels beastly now...cant wait to finally get my timing at the track..bad clutch was the only thing holding me bk...

            Organic Ceramic vs SPEC Kevlar

            This is my third aftermarket clutch kit. My first two were SPEC Stage 2. First was a 10.5", the second was an upgrade to 11" (max for a T45 trans). All three are mated to a SPEC aluminum flywheel. Both my SPEC clutches were unforgiving under abuse and ended up seizing to the flywheel (car can't move). So new inserts, and new clutches were in order. I chose Organic-Ceramic specifically because it won't seize onto the flywheel hence more forgiving to abuse (better chatter than seize). Kevlar is great but recommended only with hydraulic clutches and not cable/mechanical. Still breaking in my new clutch and thus far it sounds great. Oh, I had to have a shop install this time around. I installed the Steeda bulkhead (firewall) adjuster to make fine tuning easy. Total install including flywheel insert swap was about $1K. Thus far 150 miles into the break in process the disk is smooth and quiet and works well the OEM Clutch release bearing (T.O. bearing) with low feedback and clatter if too much pre-load.

            Awesome clutch

            Only had it on for about 300 miles but grabs so much better than the spec garbage I had in my cobra before engages nice and pedal is super heavy nice clutch to drive

            Recommend for racers!

            Extremely tied clutch; so tight that thats my only issue with it. It bites extremely hard and is super tight when launching or power shifting. A little bit of added pain to drive around traffic or anything with how stiff its for; but thats why we want it right? Recommend for sure for racing!

            Like a new car again

            Decided to buy this clutch when the throw out bearing went. I have swapped to a T56 already, and after research I found out the previous owner was using the wrong clutch... Now Paired with a new mcloud billet steel fly wheel and sr performance clutch cable kit. It feels light as a feather but doesn't lose grip on hard launches. Love this setup on my mach!

            Feels like stock

            After careful research online, decided to spend a little more and go with the McLeod clutch. It has a stiff pedal, but feels very much like stock, and promises to hold up to heavy track use, which I just tested at Rockingham dragway recently and it held up very nicely!
