Sounds Great Even w/ Stock Mufflers

This sounds great even when paired with stock mufflers. Perfect for those who are looking to unleash the muscle car sound. Drone is very minimal. Minimal to the point where it satisfies the ears but not give the head--ache. Pairing this h-pipe with the stock muffler gives it a very deep, tin metal sounds when revving, the stock mufflers must've been the reason for the tin metal sounds. I did some research, people who pair this h-pipe with 4, and 5 out of 5 loudness axle-back exhaust tend to complain about the drone since it increases the sound drastically. The reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the installation. I couldn't install my stock muffler back the way I wanted it to fit so I ended up cutting my stock muffler pipping half-inch more than what they recommended. Don't take my word for it but this is just to give you a heads up just in case you encounter the same scenario. Sound loudness is 2.5 out of 5 IMO This was given to me as a gift! (Well, I told the person I want this particular product so...)

            Great Sound!

I bought this H pipe only wanting a little more than stock sound. And that’s exactly what I got! I had it professionally installed, only because I would rather trust a good welder than a clamp. If your wanting a little more sound from your mustang, keeping your stock mufflers this is the way to go!

            Perfect Balance

I installed this on my 2018 GT convertible and I do not regret my decision a bit! I wanted something louder than stock but not so loud that it would drive my neighbors crazy. This has the perfect balance. It’s mild at cold start and idle but aggressive at partial to wot. Love it!!

            Great Sound

I loved the sound of my Mustang but wanted it to be a little bit louder. I have the active exhaust and adding the H-Pipe really woke her up. She sounds mean now and yet in good neighbor mode/quiet it is fine to start up and go on my way early in the morning. Don't get me wrong it is a bit louder in quiet but not like normal. The rest of the settings are amazing. Where I couldn't tell the difference in the level you can really hear it now. Love the sound and recommend it to anyone who is looking for that roar.

            Good, not great

PROS: Sounds AMAZING. Noticeably louder, and has a nice muscle car rumble. You can notice a little more exhaust drone, but it’s really not bad at all. CONS: Fitment is pretty poor. Took a good 20 extra minutes and some power tools to install. The end that inserts into the factory tubes is too large and is extremely difficult to work with. We had to expand the factory clamps to make it fit. Important to know: if you have the Active Exhaust, quiet mode remains practically unchanged but Track mode is a solid amount louder.

            Works ok

Fitment is ok not perfect but it gets the job done, the factory clamps dont fit great because the h pipe is slightly bigger than the stock exhaust....I recommended putting some copper sealant on the joints because all the clamps leak a little no matter how tight you crank them down

Excellent product for the right price.

Don't let the lower price deter you. So happy I went with this H-pipe. Search Vanhammer HP on YouTube for sound clips with the active exhaust feature.

            Just what I wanted.

Just enough great sound with stock mufflers. It’s a deep sound and not a raspy one like with all the X pipes out there. I didnt want to go very much louder than stock. Installation is easy and very doable in a home garage but took more than 3 hours all by myself with jack stands and a hacksaw. This H pipe is high quality with all stainless and much less weight than the resonator box. Only complaint is no info on torque specs when you are retightening all the bolts specially the new ones.

Deep true exhaust tones, no more raspy exhaust!

Theses are exactly what you want if your looking for a deep muscle car rumble not the other kind of connection resonator delete. Plus these are cheaper ONLY in price and very good quality. Why pay double for something that does exactly what is needed and has the same quality build too? I am so happy ever time I fire up my 2017 S550 with BBK ceramic coated long tube headers and cat-less of road kit to this H-pipe continuing on to Flowmaster super 44s and single Black SS 4 inch exhaust tips. Plus my neighbors are likely les annoyed now too. This is the classic sound I was looking for and had on my 90 Mustang GT.

            Sounds Great !

Had this professionally installed on my 2018 GT and could not be more satisfied. Still running the stock mufflers, so the H-Pipe is the only addition to the system, has just the right growl during start up and when under load, but actually quite mild on the open road. No droan !

            Terrible fit

Ive had pypes exhaust on my last 3 mustang's and they all fit fine. This h pipe on my 18 shifted the exhaust over so far to the right it was touching the gas tank. I had to bend some hanger and use a pry bar just to get it to not touch. The exhaust is still shifted to the right. I would have sent it back but i had to use it after i cut the resonator off just so i could get home. Says it fits 15-18 prolly only 15-17.
