Worse than OEM
I put the Spec Clutch and lightweight flywheel in my 2005 v6, after about 700 miles *still in the break in period* the car slowly but surely became undriveable. After bleeding the clutch again, and flushing the transmission fluid and nothing seeming to help-- I last resorted in taking it to the shop to figure out the issue. Upon pulling the transmission and examining the flywheel and clutch, it was evident that one of the clutch springs had came loose and cut grooves into the flywheel. I contacted Spec for the warranty (because it was within the 120 days after the purchase date), sent in pictures and told them what happened and was basically told that it was 'normal wear and tear,' which is not even remotely true. Then I was told that I would need to spend my own money to send in the faulty parts with no guarantee that Spec would send out new parts instead of the old faulty parts.
Not to mention, every person at Spec that I've spoken to has given me nothing but god awful customer service.
