Description
Advanced Boost Control. The Turbosmart EBG50 Electronic BoostGate50 Charge Air Valve is an electronically actuated valve engineered to precisely modulate boost pressure by controlling airflow within the charge pipe. It allows direct charge-air control for consistent and accurate boost regulation, especially beneficial in drag racing and other high-performance applications where turbine optimization has been achieved. This valve improves boost control by bleeding compressed air downstream of the turbocharger, ensuring rapid response and enhanced power delivery.
Construction and Appearance. Made from billet aluminium, the valve body combines strength with lightweight performance. The butterfly valve and shaft are crafted from stainless steel (630 grade) to guarantee durability and corrosion resistance. It features a sleek, professional finish with 360-degree mounting options through V-band clamps, and the actuator offers clock-able positioning for flexible installation.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and involves mounting to the charge pipe using the supplied V-band clamps and aluminium weld flanges. While the process generally does not require drilling, some adaptation may be necessary depending on the specific setup.
Application. Designed for universal fitment; some adaptation may be required to integrate with various turbo systems and charge pipe configurations.
