Description
Active Valved Exhaust System. The Milltek Active Valved Cat-Back Exhaust System is engineered to enhance exhaust flow and sound performance for the Ford Mustang 5.0 V8 Dark Horse and Mach 1 models. It features an integrated active valve controlled by the OEM engine management system, providing dynamic exhaust tones and improved scavenging efficiency while maintaining compliance with noise regulations.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from hand-finished T304L stainless steel, this exhaust system includes mandrel-bent tubing for smooth exhaust flow without restrictions. It is equipped with precision-welded joints and CNC-formed 4.5-inch diameter brushed titanium GT-115 tips that combine durability with a high-quality aesthetic resistant to corrosion and heat.
Installation. Installation typically takes 1 to 2 hours and involves removing the OEM exhaust system. This system offers direct bolt-on fitment using existing OEM hangers with no drilling or modifications required, ensuring a straightforward installation.
