Popular Tire Sizes for this Wheel
Hey everyone Justin here with AmericanMuscle.com and I’m taking a look at a classic Mustang wheel design and by far our most popular wheel here at AmericanMuscle, I’m referring to these Bullitt wheels for all 99-04 Mustangs. Bullitt wheels have long been the favorite of many Mustang owners everywhere, from their classic 60s muscle car styling, in addition to the factory built Ford Bullitt Mustang in 01, then again in 08 and 09, it’s easy to see why these wheels are so popular on Mustangs of all ages. Our Bullitt wheels are available in 17” 18” and 19” diameters, and your choice of either gloss black, anthracite silver, matte black, or a chrome finish. The wheels are also available in either staggered or non staggered fitment, now a staggered fitment means that your rear wheels and tires are going to be slightly wider than your fronts, giving you that classic muscle car appearance, and that’s exactly what we’ve done on our 2000 V6 behind me. We have our gloss black 17x9’s on the front, and our gloss black 17x10 ½ ‘s on the rear, giving us that really aggressive stance. Now this will also help your traction as well, thanks to the fact that you get to run a big beefy tire out back to help you get that power down to the ground. The wheels are also available with a very cool deep dish option, now deep dish refers to the lip around the wheel itself, as you can see the face of the wheel is set further back into the rim, giving you that really nice lip that’s sure to get you noticed. If you want to check out what some of the other finishes might look like on your ride, then you’ll want to check out our 98 GT back there on the lift that’s sporting the chrome finish, or our 2000 GT back there on our dyno jet, sporting the anthracite silver look. Now whatever finish you decide to go with, rest assured that we have your back, with a 1 year warranty on our finishes, and a lifetime structural warranty on all wheels. Of course you can purchase these wheels individually if you like, however the smart move would be to take advantage of one of our pre built tire and wheel combinations. This pairs your new Bullitt wheels up with some of the top performing tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your ride without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. You also get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing, optional nitrogen fill, and as always free shipping and handling. Installing a new set of wheels is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, all you need to do is simply crack your lugs loose first, then jack up the car and swap the wheels, start to finish should take you about an hour using standard hand tools and a floor jack. So if you want to evoke that classic muscle car styling on your modern day ride, then these Bullitt wheels from AmericanMuscle will give you an aggressive look that’s sure to never go out of style.

What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

Was running stock rims and tires on my 1999 v6 - not a bad look but not what I wanted. The staggered rims with Nitto low profile tires really did the trick. Also installed the Ford performance B springs while I was at it to complete the look. Wheel install was easily done in my garage but the springs were a shop installation.Helpful (0)

hi.it doesn't say whats the offset of the rims.coz my mustang is lowered with eibach of 1 1/2 inch all around.i want to know what tires size I have to buy also, since I don't want rubbing on the front fender well.
These will feature +30mm offset, we would recommend a 265-35-18 for a 1994-1998 Mustang, and a 275-35-18 for a 1999-2004 Mustang.
whWhat size tires can we run on an 01 GT with Eibach Sport Line lowering springs? We want 18" wheels, 9 on the front and 10 on the back. We currently are running 245/45/17 on it.
This Bullitt Wheel and Tire Kit will fit perfectly on your 2001 GT and would be a great complement to your Eibach Sportline Springs! Our Wheel/Tire Packages will all fit up to a 2" drop, which your springs are within that tolerance. Hope this helps!
Offset is +30mm, backspacing is 6.18".
So I bought four of these wheels August 10 2018 and they already have pitting and chrome lifting at the edge of spokes against rim. How long does warranty cover chrome plating?
The Deep Dish Bullitt Chrome Wheel has a 30-day warranty.
I bought a used 2002 Ford Mustang GT with some American Muscle chrome deep dish bullitt rims, i dont know if these are the 18x9 or 18x10. The current tires on front are 235/45R18, but look a little small for rim, on the rear is 235/50R18, tire seems to fit rim better. Is there any numbering stamped on rim to identify its size, without having to remove tire? I'm looking to fit some wider rubber on these beautiful rims.
On the rear of the spokes, the specifications of the wheel including size, offset, and origin of manufacturing are branded in to the aluminum. Simply remove the wheel from the Mustang and you can find all the specification of your wheel.
At this current time, we do not offer black chrome as a color option for the Bullitt wheels.
Hello! We do offer the Chrome Bullitt Deep Dish wheels in a 20x10 here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/chrome-dd-bullitt-20x10-2015.html
We can only guarantee fitment for Mustangs. You would need to take your own measurements to determine whether or not these will fit.
The Staggered Bullitt Chrome Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 18x9/10 (94-98 All) would fit under your '98 without any issues. There really isn't a better size between 17 and 18, it's entirely personal preference at that point. Just keep in mind that a speedometer calibration is indicative of your overall diameter of your wheels AND tires, so simply saying you have an 18 or a 17 isn't a guarantee that you'd have to adjust one way or another. However, either a shorter or taller diameter of the wheel and tire combined would throw off your speedometer.
I personally like the look of the 18" wheels on these Mustangs. I think you would be very happy with them. At the end of the day this is really going to be your decision since this is your car. I believe either size will look great on your car!
Yes - you can install an 18x9 wheel wrapped in 275/35-18s in both the front and rear without any problems.
You won't have any problems installing this wheel and tire package on your 2001 Mustang. You can keep it stock height or lower up to 2" without any issues with clearance or rubbing. Hope this helps!
Absolutely! This wheel and tire combo, same goes for all our wheel/tire kits, will fit up to a 2" drop without having any fitment problems!
Simple installation for anyone.
