    Review & Installation Video

Hi I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I have with me two very valuable live axle mods for your 2005 and newer Mustang. I’m referring to the whiteline performance adjustable panhard bar, and support brace, available separately here at AmericanMuscle.com. Anyone that drives a solid rear axle car like the Mustang should be well aware of the benefits of using an aftermarket panhard bar. If you don’t know, the panhard bar is designed t o prevent any side to side or lateral movement of the rear axle by bracing it to the chassis. Here lies one of the problems, the factory brace used to attach the panhard bar to the chassis is made from weak, light gauge stamped metal which can oftentimes bend or flex under load. That’s where this whiteline panhard bar support brace comes in. this brace from whiteline beefs up that weak spot by using heavy duty box steel construction, for superior strength. The brace is then finished off in a silver powder coat for increased durability. Moving away from the support brace and onto the actual panhard bar itself, we’re already somewhat familiar with this product having already used it on our 2011 bolt on build up V6, with great success. Whiteline went with a 4130 chromoly steel for the construction, which is going to be equal parts durable and rigid. Not only will this help keep the rear end in the optimal position but it’s also going to improve both your handling and your traction, this bar also features panhards non bonded elastomer bushings that offer a number of benefits. For one, this design helps prevent the bushing from getting bound up and then snapping back increasing your handling predictability. In addition, these bushings do not produce any noise and are zero maintenance, you’ll never have to grease them. Finally, this bar is fully adjustable while still on the car, so you can make your adjustments without having to uninstall the bar itself. Both the panhard bar itself and the support brace feature simple two bolt installs, so with that said the install itself really shouldn’t be all that bad, but you will need to crawl under the rear of the car just to get everything bolted up properly, just leave yourself about an hour per product. If you’re looking to improve the sub standard factory panhard setup on your 05 and newer Mustang, then you’ll want to check out this Whiteline panhard bar and brace, both available right here at AmericanMuscle.com

Reinforces Panhard Bar. Replace that wimpy stock light gauge stamped metal brace Ford installs with their Panhard Bar with a heavy duty Whiteline Performance Panhard Bar Support Brace for additional strength to prevent deflection under load.

Boxed Construction. Made from heavy duty boxed steel tubing for superior strength, Whiteline completes their Panhard Bar Support Brace with a silver powder coat finish for durability and good looks.

Application. This Whiteline Performance Panhard Bar Support Brace is designed to fit 2005-2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt and Shelby GT500 models and is the perfect companion to a Whiteline Adjustable Panhard Bar. Not intended for use with Watts Linkage.

      Better than stock

Much more substantial piece than stock. Boxed steel. While putting on the Whiteline panhard bar I figured why not do it right. Between the two the rear feels more solid. Four star because it seems a bit pricey for a piece of metal with no moving parts. Then again, I forked out the cash for it. It also looks good. Anytime you want, you can jack up the car, slide under the gas tank, and marvel at its beauty...

      Whiteline Panhard bar support brace

I did the support brace along with the Whiteline panhard bar. It is beefy and much better than the stock unit. The panhard bar was great and this is a nice addition. Definitely go Whiteline on the Coyotes.

      Whiteline panard bar support bar.

It is a great add on. When I was installing the SR adjustable panard bar. I saw the stock support bar. And knew it had to be replaced with a better idea. Thanks

      Solid Panhard Bar Support Brace

Well constructed support brace. Replaces the factory flexible stamped steel brace with solid steel construction. Only gave 4 stars due to item slightly over priced.

      Significant Upgrade

This support brace is night and day more stable than the stock brace. I was surprised how much of a difference this brace and the Whiteline panhard bar make to the rear end. Install was quick and simple, even with floor jacks.

      Whiteline panhard bar support

This is a well made part that fits as it should so it's easy to install. A nice addition to the suspension for added rigidity, but don't expect to notice much difference in handling.

      Well worth the monet

I installed this support brace and the whittling adjustable panhard bar at the same time, and together they make the world of difference. You can feel the difference in the rear end night/day. Simple install. Had to make a minor dent in my magna flow exhaust for clearance, but nothing to bad, which is why i only gave fit 4 stars.

The install directions were not good. Support vehicle and let axle hang. Relaxed springs are required to remove panhard bolt on passenger side.

Added support for a 2014 Track Pack

My 2014 GT has the 1" drop Ford springs and still has the stock panhard bar due to stock wheels & tires being a 1/16th of each other. I had the support bar installed when I had an alignment & wheel balance done. I will get the White line Bar when I go for a 10" rear wheels If needed. So far I haven't really push the rear around to hard while daily driving. But nice dry mountain roads are just up the road. This is a solid and well build product, I would defiantly recommend them. You can't beat A/M price for for Quality parts!!

Whiteline Panhard Bar/Brace and Lower Control Arms

I installed the above and am very please with the results. The whole rear end of the mustang is much more controlled and stable - was really surprised at the difference these made!! The NVH increase is really none - maybe a slight bit. I would highly recommend!!

      Good unit; well-designed features

I drive a '14 GT w/ track pack in the mountains -- twisties, hairpins, extreme grades, and broken pavement. Handling is the most important criteria to me. Coming from the Miata autocross circuit, I use go pro cams, crease strips, and other devices to test OEM and aftermarket suspension and chassis-bracing components. The panhard brace was one of the first items I tested and replaced; the OEM brace flexed and twisted too much in the curves and over rough pavement and I could see (and feel) related issues in axle centering, chucking, and side-step. The Whiteline panhard bar has two advantages over OEM and other aftermarket bars: (a) the main shaft is boxed with thick walls and the material seems high-grade, and (b) the tabbed end is semi-boxed with C-wings instead of stamped flat like other brands. Cam video shows very little flexing or twisting compared to OEM; the back-end subjectively "feels" better as well. I highly recommend the product.

      Panhard Bar

This bar was pretty easy to install. Although on the right side its a little hard to adjust the bar with a big wrench. Its too tight to turn the nut, other than that it's pretty awesome to look at the rear move side to side while you adjust the bar. I like it and I hope everyone else does too.

      Easy and inexpensive upgrade

I installed this panhard bar support and an adjustable panhard bar in about two hours. Very little cost, very little time. Great improvement and my rear end is now centered. This is the second review I have done, maybe this one will be posted, maybe not. If not, I will never write another review.
