      Jake: Jake here for AmericanMuscle. And today, I'm taking a look at the Axial LED Trunk Courtesy Lamp for 2008 and newer Challengers. Upgrading your interior lighting to LEDs is an easy, popular upgrade to do, but one place that you might overlook is the trunk lighting. This plug-and-play LED Courtesy lamp from Axial will be an excellent addition to your Challenger's interior, and it won't cost you very much either.Now, adding LEDs to the interior can make a big difference, and that difference can be extended to your trunk space as well, because it's gonna make it much more useable. Now, this courtesy lamp features super-bright white LED bulbs to produce a stronger, brighter beam of light, and it's gonna illuminate more of the trunk space than that factory incandescent bulb, partially because you just have more bulbs in there. So you're gonna be able to see much more of what you've got in there more clearly than you could with that stock light. Now, these LED bulbs also mean that you aren't gonna have to worry about replacements for a long time either. The housing here is made from OEM-grade plastic, and it features a clear lens for optimal light.Pricing here will come in at about $50, so it's a pretty inexpensive upgrade that's gonna make a big difference in functionality, and I am a huge fan of that. You really can't beat a simple, inexpensive, and functional modification.As I mentioned, installation is also super simple, coming in at a one out of three on our difficulty meter, and it should really only take you about five minutes to install. Like I mentioned, it's a total plug-and-play operation, just this one plug, and one clip on this side, and you're done. Not much more I can say about it here, so let's head over to the install bay now and we'll show you how to get this installed in your Challenger.Man: The tool required for this project is a small flat head screwdriver. Hi, everyone. Today, we're installing an LED courtesy lamp for our trunk in our Challenger, so let's get started with the uninstall of the stock light first. All right, to uninstall our light, we're just gonna use a small flat head screw driver. Insert it under the lip of the light itself, and push it towards the other side, and pull it down. Once you've got it down, you can go ahead and push on the release tab for the connector, and pull it out. Now, to install our new light, we're just gonna plug our connector into it until it snaps into place, and then we'll feed the wire back up inside, as well as one end of the light, and then just snap it in.And that wraps up our review and install of the Raxiom Axial Series LED Trunk Courtesy Lamp for the '08 to '23 Challenger.
