This C&L Axle-Back Exhaust features a pair of round, straight-through perforated mufflers that will produce an aggressive performance sound under acceleration, but a mellow tone at idle. Besides an increase in sound, this Axle-Back, with its mandrel bent piping, will also improve your Mustang's exhaust flow for an increase in overall power and performance.

Quality Construction. C&L proudly manufactures their Axle-Back Exhaust systems from mandrel-bent, 3-inch diameter, premium grade, 409 stainless steel tubing for excellent exhaust flow and enduring corrosion resistance. This system features a pair of round, high-flow, straight-through perforated mufflers that end with a set of 4.5-inch, black coated, 304 stainless steel exhaust tips.

Cut and Clamp Installation. The installation of this Axle-Back Exhaust system will require cutting and removing the stock muffler assemblies. The new Axle-Back assemblies will install in place of the old. Installation of this Axle-Back can be completed in about one hour. This Axle-Back reuses the existing factory hangers for installation. Clamps and instructions are provided.
