Description
High-Performance Hydraulic Cam. The Stage 2 Supercharger HRT 229/241 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft delivers enhanced power and efficiency for Dodge 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI engines equipped with variable valve timing. Designed specifically for larger superchargers and race-oriented applications, it provides excellent throttle response and high RPM performance up to 7500+. This camshaft requires complementary modifications to maximize its potential.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from precision-ground steel with a hydraulic roller design, this camshaft ensures durability and high performance under extreme conditions. The finish is smooth and engineered for optimal wear resistance, enhancing reliability during aggressive street and strip use.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and special components such as the DOD Delete Kit, upgraded 7230 springs, and phaser lock. No drilling or permanent modifications are necessary; however, disabling the MDS system and using Non-MDS lifters are essential for proper operation.
Warranty. This camshaft includes a 12-month warranty covering defects in material and workmanship. Application. Engineered to fit 2009 through 2023 Dodge 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI Challenger engines equipped with variable valve timing, compatible with various trims and packages.
