The Flowmaster 80 Series Offset/Offset Same-Side-Out Oval Muffler; 2.50 Inlet/2.50 Outlet delivers an aggressive muscle car sound designed for crossflow applications where the muffler is mounted in front of the rear axle. It is ideal for vehicles seeking a side exit exhaust similar to iconic muscle car setups, enhancing both interior and exterior exhaust tone. This muffler offers a great replacement option for performance enthusiasts who desire a distinctive sound and style.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded to ensure maximum durability and corrosion resistance. It features a high-temperature painted black finish that protects the surface while adding an aggressive visual appeal. The oval shape and offset inlet/outlet design accommodate various exhaust configurations.
Installation. Installation requires slip-fit clamp-on and weld-on connections without clamps or hangers included. New hangers must be used but are not provided. Some adaptation may be necessary to achieve an optimal fit, making it suitable for universal applications that might require minor adjustments.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required to properly install on certain vehicles, as this muffler is designed for classic and late-model muscle cars as well as street/strip use.
