The JLT Cold Air Intake with Snap-In Lid and Red Filter is designed to improve the engine’s airflow by minimizing restriction, resulting in enhanced performance without the need for any tuning modifications. It replaces the factory air intake, allowing your Mustang’s 2.3L EcoBoost turbo engine to breathe easier and operate more efficiently.
Construction and Appearance. This intake system features a fully enclosed airbox constructed from durable materials with a patented snap-in lid that eliminates the need for screws. Premium silicone components are used for the air filter seal, coupler, and lid gasket, providing superior durability and heat resistance. The intake also includes a red oil-applied cotton cleanable filter for exceptional filtration and airflow.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling or permanent modifications. The tool-less snap-in lid design allows for quick access during inspections. This kit offers a manageable installation process suitable for enthusiasts with basic mechanical skills.
