In fact, this optimized design is highly resistant to energy degradation at higher RPMs. Additionally, the coils are covered in a specialized epoxy resin insulator that’s highly resistant to heat, ensuring long-lasting performance. Lastly, this epoxy core is protected by a black automotive-grade plastic housing featuring an OE design for ease of use.

      Uncomplicated Install Procedure. These PerTronix ignition coils install into your Challenger’s factory coil locations without the need for modifications. However, installation may require disassembly of some components in order for you to access your vehicle’s ignition coil location. It’s also a good idea to check the conditions of your spark plugs since these replacing your coils will make the spark plugs more accessible.
