In addition, the surfaces of the rotors feature zinc dichromate plating to protect from corrosive elements that could degrade the rotor metal.

      Vented and Slotted Rotors. The drilled design on the rotors effectively vents heat away from the surface for a more efficient braking operation. The slots, on the other hand, scrape off gas, dust, and debris from the pad to maintain clear contact patch and smooth braking.

      Proprietary Formula. The PowerStop Brake Pads that are in this brake kit feature a proprietary carbon fiber ceramic compound that ensures better durability compared to stock brake pads. The carbon fiber in the formula helps reinforce the pad for increased brake-fade resistance.
