Looked at a lot of cat back exhausts, before finally settling on these from Pypes. I liked the black tips sticking out from the bottom of the red Mustang. Tried to do my due diligence and read all the reviews before making my decision. Went to a well established muffler shop, since I have neither the tech ability, nor the patience to do the install myself, and figured it would be cheaper to pay a pro, than screw it up myself, and still have to pay to clean up my mess. The installer has been doing this type of work, since this Mustang was made (18 years), and I was feeling good about the whole thing. Things went bad from the start. Neither side fit as described, and everything had to be modified to work, right down to the mounts. The tail pipes would have stuck up in the rear bumper as they came from the box. Long story short, installer noted that this setup fit the box it came in much better than the car it was put on. A 2 hour job ended up taking 5 hours. Not sure I would recommend these to anyone based on the fit. The one shining star from all this is the sound. NICE!!!! That is the only thing keeping me from making this a 1 star rating. Shame on you Pypes, for the lack of quality control!!! rusty

      Great addition for your daily

Really dig this kit. Improved sound at idle without being too loud, then very aggressive at high RPM. If you like the snarl and crackle sort of sound, then you'll probably enjoy it. I expected some drone but never noticed any, even on long freeway drives. The sound was always a pleasant and aggressive tone. The black finish was also very high quality.

      Looks good

I went to have emissions done and was told my current exhaust was a wreck and needed to be replaced. I decided rather than spending $1900 for them to get stock I'd come here and get something i wanted for less. Looks great and sounds great.

      Head Turner

Also replace with H off road pipes. The sound is awesome. Going through the gears people are going to notice. Pleasantly surprise at the nice sound level cruising. Just what I wanted.

      This exhaust is awesome

Highly recommend this exhaust system. The sound is quiet at idle and comes to life when accelerating. Love the black tips.Look great with my laser red. Only problem was when being installed the hanger bracket had to be cut and rewelded.

This catback system has a throaty but quiet idle. Not much over stock. But higher rpm sound is great.. Went in easy didn't remove shocks or tires. Overall great Exquast for the price would recommend.
