When paired with the Twisted Steel long tube headers, this race-only mid-pipe is designed to release exhaust gases in the fastest way possible, resulting in noticeable increases in power and torque, as well as faster throttle response. All that added-on power will surely serve your campaign well, come race day.
Throaty, Mid-Range Exhaust Note. Not only does the AFE 3 inch Twisted Steel Race Series Off-Road Mid-Pipe make you perform better, it makes you sound better too. The exhaust note produced by this mid-pipe starts out as a low, raspy rumble that builds up into a throaty, mid-range roar that’s loud without being off-putting. Except, maybe to your fellow competitors, as they watch you win!
Race-Only Non-Catted Headers. The AFE 3 inch Twisted Steel Race Series Off-Road Mid-Pipe deletes the factory cats, and are engineered for properly sanctioned racing applications. Consequently, road use may be illegal under local or federal laws. Also, this mid-pipe is not CARB-certified. Please be guided accordingly.
Rugged Stainless Steel Build Quality. AFE's 3 inch Twisted Steel Race Series Off-Road Mid-Pipes are built from 304 stainless steel providing excellent rust resistance as well as strength. These mid-pipes are completely mandrel-bent adding rigidity, as well as eliminating turbulence. Finally, joins are completely MIG-welded for extra durability.
