The combination of the large, heat-insulated tube and 3-layer air filter results in up to a 57% increase in airflow. The increased and enhanced airflow, in turn, delivers gains of up to maximum 10 horsepower and 16 pound-feet of torque for overall better performance.
No Need for After-Installation Tuning. There’s no need for a custom tune after installing this cold air intake on your vehicle. However, if you have other upgrades or modifications, a custom tune is greatly beneficial. It will reprogram the ECU and make sure that you get the most out of every upgrade.
Washable Pro DRY S Filter With 3 Layers. To give the largest amount of clean, oxygen-filled air to your engine, AFE used a progressive 3-layer dry filter with a synthetic material. This oil-free filter measures 7 inches and has a conical shape, creating a large surface area so it can filter more air for longer. It’s also washable with soap and water. You can use it for years and still expect the same superior filtration. To help the filter keep the air cooler and cleaner, this cold air intake comes with a one-piece heat shield. This isolates the filter, keeping it away from the hot engine air to help increase efficiency.
