      Nice growl

      Added these mufflers to my 2010 Shelby gt500, and they sound great. Gives off a nice aggressive grumble when you open it up, at idle it sounds pretty much stock. Planning on adding an H pipe to get a bit more out of them, but nonetheless they’re really nice.

      Great sound with catless H-pipe

      I have this axle-back system paired with a catless H-pipe and the sound is amazing. The set-up has a very deep growl that is not over bearing at idle, but gets to be pretty loud at 2500 RPMs. It can be loud in the cockpit, and my car is not a convertible either, which is a drawback if you don't like that but it never really bothers me. As an experiment few months ago my friend and I moved this axle-back from my car onto his '08 4.6L which had otherwise stock exhaust and the sound was honestly disappointing. It was hardly different from stock. I wound not recommend these if you are looking to only change your axle-back and have massive changes in sound, but it does make a great combo with a catless H-pipe. Also, after taking these off my car during the transplant with my friends vehicle, I realized how much they tame down the noise of a catless exhaust system and was very glad to have them. Without these on, the noise was far louder than I wanted and had too rough of a texture for my taste. Over all I am very pleased with this product for my exhaust set up!

      2010 Mustang GT Convertible

      Installed the axle backs in about 2 hours using a friend's lift. The fit, finish and alignment were great. The sound at idle is nice. The sound under acceleration is awesome. Exactly what I wanted. There is a drone at 70 - 80 mph on the highway but tolerable. Some advice on the install: unbolt the pipes at the h-pipe instead of unbolting the rear hanger brackets. Much easier and quicker. I would recommend these to anyone. Well worth the wait and price.

      borla stinger s-type exhaust same as stock

      Spent a lot of time researching exhausts and was looking for something that wasn't too loud, but wanted something a little beefier than the stock exhaust. We decided to go for a 3/5, after talking with AM and explaining exactly what I wanted. Spent $500 on this exhaust and can barely tell any difference. Read other reviews and don't know why mine is so different. Can't tell you how disappointed I am with this product, and literally would be ashamed to sell it to someone else. I feel like I thoroughly explained what I wanted to AM, and was not given the proper information. Now I'm out $500 and have to start all over.

      Need to calm down your catless exhaust?

      I purchased these for my 2010 gt to try to calm the rasp that I had with the old set up. (cams,pype bombs, catless h pipe) worked great, I got a super deep tone and no rasp.

      I have never done exhaust work,but this was not hard at all.Just backed it up onto my ramps,and everything was right there.With a 15mm socket,and a 13mm socket and wrench(for a tricky bolt or two) was all.When finished I was nervous about starting my stang up,worried about my neighbors hating us.No worries....If you want deep,like a V8 should sound but not loud which is exactly what I wanted get this exhaust.Try the Atak if you want louder.

      Fit, NOT SO MUCH!

      After tons of reading and listening, I figured a guy couldnt go wrong with Borla exhaust. Well I was dissapointed, the sound is great, well constructed, and they look great. But the fit left something to be desired. Driver side went on perfect, then got to the passenger side, it was terrible. The tip was smashed up in the top left side of the opening. Had to do tons of tweeking and bending to get it centered like the drivers side. Not what I expected.

      Bought Borla for the quality that they ensure....

      When looking through the brands, you notice that the stingers are not the least expensive. I bought this exhaust because I know they have a good quality track record and that I would have zero problems with them. To my surprise, the driver's side exhaust fit perfectly, but the passenger's side did not fit well AT ALL! The tip was all the way mashed into the upper left corner of the exhaust hole (touching the plastic bumper). I did NOT expect to have this sort of issue after paying a premium for quality. I have never had any problems with AM parts that I have bought, and I am not too happy with resorting to bending hangars or paying extra for a muffler shop to fix.

      I shopped extensively for some exhaust for my 2010 GT. I wanted something louder than stock but not annoyingly loud. I also wanted good quality. The Borlas were perfect! I was worried that the S-type would be too loud, but it is just the volume I was looking for. Only a little louder than stock, but the exhaust note is sweet when you get on it! A lot deeper tone than stock. I installed them myself. I did have a little trouble aligning the tips coming out the back. I drove down to the local Meineke and they lined them up for me in 15 minutes. As always, shipping and customer service from AM was excellent!

      Borla Stingers

      These stingers sound awesome! Very deep and a not too loud aggressive note. This is my fifth exhaust set up on this car and this one by far is the best sounding. I had another brand before and the drone in the cabin was awful. I switched to a muffler delete set up with resonators and the neighbors complained. This is a very happy medium that pleases the neighbors and me. They are just a little louder than stock mufflers at idle but come alive when you step on it. Love the sound and very happy with the fit and looks. The install was simple and straight forward and tool less then an hour with no problems.

      Borla Stinger '10 GT

      I installed these and took out the Pypes Bombs. I decided to run a full exhaust and thought the Bombs would be to loud with LT's and OR H-pipe. By themselves they have a wonderful smooth deep sound that definitley screams muscle. When I added the LT's and OR H the stingers really came to life. The set-up is driveable for daily use which is what my car is for. When you punch it they scream. I love the Stingers. I had them on my 04 Mach 1 and I will never use another exhaust. Pricey but you really do get the best exhaust there is for our cars.

      Pretty Cool...

      Just installed these on my 2010 GT. Install was easy and everything fits properly. Big difference from stock! The Borla is much deeper and has that booming "bass" type of tone - even at idle. Two things I don't like about the exhaust that are in conflict with other reviews here. There is SIGNIFICANT drone at 1800-2000 RPM. Almost deafening at times - very annoying. Also - the amount of popping on decel is greatly increased with this exhaust. Some love it - I don't particularly like it. I like the snarl you get on decel - like the Pypes Violator for example. I bought Borla for the best quality and what I thought would be great sound. Quality is awesome, but I'm very disappointed in the sound and drone. I am probably going to sell them and put on Pypes.

      Worth the money!

      I installed these about a year ago and I still love them everytime I start my 2010 gt up. Just an amazing sound and I frequent many shows in the dfw area and I'm always asked what exhaust I have and complaments are frequent. I've heard the bassani's and have had shops tell me they sound the same but they really don't. If your confused on what to get, just bite the bullet and get these. You wont regret it!

      Perfect Sound

      After going with several different exhaust systems, I've found the one that best fit my taste. I love the low growl the Borla's offer. There's no mid-RPM drone or annoying popping sound. Install was a breeze! This is the kit I've been waiting for. I like for my car to sound like a muscle car without sounding obnoxious.

      Borla #11777 S-type review

      I installed these on my 2010 GT500. Install was a breeze, the hardest part was gaining access to some of the hanger bolts with the massive stock mufflers in place. A 13mm ratcheting wrench really helped. Install of the new Borlas was very fast and easy. Total time was around 1 hour. The sound was exactly what I was looking for. A deeper growl off idle and slightly louder at cruising speed. No drone even at the 1800-2000 rpm range. When I picked my wife up at work she commented "That's what a muscle car should sound like!!". I love 'em!!

      I installed these on my 2010 Mustang GT along with a Bassani catted X pipe. The sound quality is amazing. Nice burble at idle but really comes alive when you hit the loud pedal. I have had many compliments already.
