Description
Premium Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler with 3-inch inlet and outlet is engineered to enhance exhaust flow and deliver an aggressive sound ideal for street, strip, and off-road applications. It improves scavenging for increased performance while minimizing interior exhaust resonance for a more enjoyable driving experience.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for lasting reliability, this muffler features a high-temperature black paint finish to resist heat and corrosion. The chambered design incorporates patented Delta Flow technology to optimize exhaust flow and sound quality.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit clamp-on and weld-on inlet and outlet connections. Some adaptation may be required for specific vehicle fitment. New hangers are necessary but not included.
Application. Suitable for a wide variety of vehicles including 4 and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs. Universal fitment offers broad compatibility, though some customization may be necessary during installation.
