Description
Dominate the Competition. Dominate the competition when you install the SparkMAX Universal Single Output Ignition System Voltage Booster V2. This device is engineered to enhance the output of your race-ready Challenger’s ignition system to give you the power and torque you need to rise above the pack come race day. Specifically, this booster unit interfaces between your ignition coil and DC wire feed to raise your vehicle’s sparkplug output. By doing so, this unit produces a wider spark gap, which is responsible for the aforementioned power and torque gains. Best of all, this is achieved while eliminating the risk of a blowout.
Adjustable Design, Rugged Build. Besides improving the performance of your ignition coil, this voltage booster also offers complete adjustability. In particular, this device allows you to adjust the voltage output from 14.5 to 25 volts. This feature enables you to fine-tune your Challenger’s performance specific to your needs. Additionally, this unit’s high-grade alloy housing features an integrated heat sink, making it tough enough to take the rigors of high-performance use. Lastly, this component’s compact design allows space-saving installation.
No-Nonsense Install Procedure. Installing this voltage booster is a relatively no-nonsense procedure as it does not require major modifications or disassembly to your vehicle. Moreover, this unit mounts onto your vehicle’s inner surface behind the passenger side kick panel with minor drilling. You will also need to perform some wiring work to connect the device’s harness with your ignition coil, as well as trimming of the firewall bulkhead grommet. The latter is to allow threading of the included wires into your engine bay.
