Jake: Jake here for American Muscle and today I'm taking a look at the MP Concepts Chin Spoiler in gloss black, for 2016 and newer Camaros, excluding the ZL 1. If you're looking for an easy way to add some aggressive style to your Camaro, then this chin spoiler is a great way to make that happen. It combines sleek, good looks, and solid construction for an affordable price, and sure to turn some heads out there on the street.Now, the latest generation of Camaros I think look pretty good coming off the showroom floor, but a car that looks that mean deserves a little extra something to set it off, and this chin spoiler from MP Concepts is a perfect way to do exactly that. If you can see, it has some nice sharp edges that are gonna compliment the styling of the front of the Camaro quite well, and it's not just some tiny lip, it is a pretty big spoiler, and it even wraps around underneath the bumper.This is some track-inspired styling that we've got here, and it also continues to the edges of the lip, where you'll notice that it turns down a little bit, sort of reminiscent of a splitter or a canard on a race car. Now, that's not to say that this is gonna function exactly as one of those does, but it does look good and that's really what this is all about. As you can tell from me holding it, this is pretty light, so it's made from durable ABS plastic, so it's got not much weight, but it also has a little bit of give to it, and that's exactly what you want for something that's gonna sit this low on the car. It's not gonna shatter should it get hit with any debris out on the road, and it will also stand up to impacts should you happen to have one of those.Now, it's also finished in gloss black as you can see, so we can mount it up right as it comes outta the box and it's just gonna look right because it's gonna match with the rest of the gloss trim on the Camaro. Pricing wise, this is gonna run you about $375, and that's not all that bad for a chin spoiler. You can certainly spend a lot more going with something that might be a bit more aggressive or say something that's made of carbon fiber, but this is an excellent choice for a daily-driven car that's gonna look good and still be very budget friendly.Installation is also quite easy, coming in at a one out of three on our difficulty meter, and it should only take you about an hour to install. Now, this is definitely a job you can accomplish at home, but you may have to do a little bit of drilling to get some of these holes where you need them on the car. But to show you exactly how to get that done, let's head over to the install bay right now.Male Speaker: Tools required for this install include a ratchet, a three-eighth to quarter-inch adapter, and a 7-millimeter socket. What's up, guys? Today we're gonna be installing a chin spoiler on our Camaro, so let's get started. So, to remove our stock chin spoiler, we have 12 seven-millimeter screws to remove. Now we're gonna leave a couple in the front and just to hold it up so it doesn't fall down and potentially crack. And now we can remove our final two screws that are holding our chin spoiler on.Now, to install our new chin spoiler, we're gonna raise it up and line up our holes, and then we can start threading in our factory hardware. So, now that we have a couple of our screws hand tight in the middle to hold our lip up. We can work on one side at a time, put the rest of our screws in, and tighten those down. And then we'll take that same 7-millimeter socket from earlier to tighten these down. So now we'll just do that same thing on the other side.So that'll wrap up this review and install of the MP Concepts Chin spoiler in gloss black for your 2016 and newer Camaro.
