ECU Re-Tune Not Required. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake does not require an ECU re-tune to get the benefits of this product. However, an ECU re-tune in the future will always benefit your vehicle, as this will ensure you get the full potential of this cold air intake.
High-Performance, Low Maintenance Oiled Air Filter. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake comes with a high-performance oiled air filter. This air filter is capable of providing unrestricted air-flow while efficiently filtering out engine contaminants. Moreover, this filter is a completely low-maintenance component, requiring servicing after 100,000 miles (depending on driving conditions). And when it’s time for maintenance, this oiled air filter washes easily with water and mild soap. Lastly, it is restored using the appropriate filter oil.
