      ECU Re-Tune Not Necessary. The AFE Momentum Black GT Pro DRY S Cold Air Intake’s performance increase is due to a combination of intelligent design and advanced construction in both the air intake assembly, and air filter. This provides your engine with almost ambient temperature air into your engine, resulting in more efficient combustion. An ECU re-tuning is not necessary, although a re-tune sometime in the future will always benefit your car’s performance.

      Super-Efficient Dry Air Filter. The air filter utilized by the AFE Momentum Black GT Cold Air Intake is the Pro DRY S filter. This non-oil air filter uses 3 layers of increasingly finer synthetic filter mesh that filters out 99.2% of engine contaminants, without compromising maximum air flow. This filter is also simple to clean by tapping, vacuuming, or with mild soap and warm water.

      Uni-Body, CAD-Designed Construction. The uni-body housing and roto-molded intake tubes of the AFE Momentum Black GT Cold Air Intake are CAD-designed and crafted from sturdy heat-resistant plastic for strength and a precise fit with fewer parts. The housing completely insulates the air filter from engine bay heat, and features a clear sight window for easy filter inspection. Lastly, the coupling and clamps are constructed from heat-resistant silicone and stainless steel, respectively, contributing to the assembly’s precise fit and durability.

      Easy Direct-Fit Installation. Installing the AFE Momentum Black GT Cold Air Intake is an easy procedure since the assembly is designed to fit in the area of your Challenger’s factory air intake. Standard tools are all you need, and no modifications are required.
